Key Accountabilities

Oversee food safety technicians and lab techs.

Approve or hold product based on quality standards.

Train and evaluate Quality Lab personnel.

Interpret product specs and SOPs.

Respond to customer complaints.

Ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.

Manage departmental budgeting and inventory.

Participate in audits, meetings, R&D sessions, and quality cuttings.

Train in annual sensory and calibration programs.

Lead shelf-life validation and equipment testing.

Summarize data and prepare reports.

Manage PTO, HR tasks, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications

Bachelorโs degree in food science or related field.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.

PCQI and HACCP certification preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Knowledge of food safety regulations, root cause analysis, and GFSI standards.
Compensation Package
$65,500 โ $87,400 USD annually + bonus eligibility
Hiring compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, and organizational needs.
