Food Science Internship Summary
As a Gum & Candy R&D Intern, you’ll be part of the team at the Singapore Technical Centre (SGTC), working on exciting projects that drive innovation in the world of snacking. You’ll receive mentorship from Technical Project Leads and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge food technologies.
By the end of the internship, you’ll deliver an oral presentation summarizing your project outcomes and key learnings.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical team in lab trials, including prototype preparation, execution, and analysis.
- Assist with project work — ingredient weighing, batch preparation, bench-top trials, sensory and shelf-life testing, and lab maintenance.
- Conduct desktop research, data analysis, and data collection for ongoing projects.
- Learn and adhere to Mondelēz International GMP and Safety Standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required for Food Science Internship
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Available to start in January or March 2026.
