Educational Requirements for the Food Safety Internship:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelorโs, Masterโs, or PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
Key Responsibilities of the Food Safety Intern:
- Conduct quality checks on finished goods
- Document procedures, instructions, and formats
- Maintain food safety program practices including BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GPM, sanitation, and good hygiene
- Prepare products and participate in sensory analysis
- Perform quality tech duties and additional tasks as assigned
Skills Required for the Food Safety Intern Role:
- Understanding of food & beverage industry requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively
