Educational Requirements for the Food Safety Internship:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s, Masterโ€™s, or PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field

Key Responsibilities of the Food Safety Intern:

  • Conduct quality checks on finished goods
  • Document procedures, instructions, and formats
  • Maintain food safety program practices including BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GPM, sanitation, and good hygiene
  • Prepare products and participate in sensory analysis
  • Perform quality tech duties and additional tasks as assigned

Skills Required for the Food Safety Intern Role:

  • Understanding of food & beverage industry requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively
