Key Responsibilities:

Develop new products and line extensions, taking them from concept to full commercialization.

Conduct pilot plant tests, document findings, and organize product evaluations.

Provide progress updates to stakeholders through clear reports and presentations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, and Engineering.

Identify and approve ingredient and manufacturing suppliers to enhance production.

Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring compliance with USDA/FDA regulations.

Continuously improve product development skills through training and hands-on experience.
What We’re Seeking:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, plus 2+ years of meat processing plant manufacturing experience.

Strong knowledge of meat and non-meat ingredient functionality.

Ability to operate pilot plant equipment with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in online systems and product development tools.

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Food Science.
