The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity available for a Microbiologist to join our Vascular division in Pearland, TX. This is an entirely Onsite role at Abbott Vascular, a provider of innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treating vascular disease.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure completion of microbiological testing
- Author technical documentation
- Develop and maintain microbiology procedures
- Evaluate and update microbiological test methods
- Monitor laboratory equipment and manage calibration
Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or equivalent
- 2+ years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience in the medical devices industry
