Job Summary:
As a Production Technician I/II, you will operate upstream, downstream, and central services processing equipment according to SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs under cGMP regulations. The role involves solution preparation, cell culture, purification, formulation, and supporting production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate process equipment and follow SOPs in compliance with cGMP standards
- Prepare solutions, conduct cell culture, purification, and formulation
- Document all activities in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Participate in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with team members and adhere to AstraZeneca values and behaviors
Essential Skills & Experience:
Production Technician I:
- 0โ1 year experience with High School Diploma
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Knowledge of cGMP standards
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions
Production Technician II:
- 0โ1 year with Bachelors, >1 year with Associates, >2 years with High School Diploma
- Prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards and bioprocessing equipment preferred
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- BS/BA degree, preferably in STEM
- Exposure to aseptic/cGMP environments
- Experience in bioprocessing work environment, systems, or equipment operation
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Pay: $56,072 โ $84,108 annually
- Hourly and salaried employees eligible for overtime pay
