Job Summary
The Research Specialist assists other research investigators by performing non-complex experiments following established protocols. Duties include:
- Routine lab and equipment maintenance (cleaning glassware, countertops, equipment)
- Calibration of instruments
- Setting up and operating scientific apparatus

- Conduct and design research experiments with supervisor guidance.
- Perform experimental procedures, such as isolating and maintaining cell cultures and studying animal models.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data meticulously.
- Maintain detailed records of all experiments.
- Manage laboratory inventory and supplies.
- Ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine laboratory chores, including sterilization and waste disposal.
