Roles and Responsibilities:
- Works on routine manufacturing assignments following written procedures, with an ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice.
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Weighs and checks raw materials; assembles, cleans, and sanitizes process equipment; and monitors processes.
- Completes work instructions and maintains a cleanroom environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Trains for proficiency in the operation of primary production equipment within the assigned functional area.
- Trains for proficiency in process systems (e.g., Syncade MES and Oracle interfaces) and some supporting business systems (e.g., Oracle, ETQ, BMRAM).
- Assists with the revision and/or creation of process documents, such as SOPs and electronic work instructions.
- Assists in maintaining material and components inventory levels.
- Supports a safe work environment.
- Works in teams and continuously interacts with team members and other manufacturing teams throughout the production process to exchange information regarding batches in process.
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
Education:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Top Skills:
- 0-2 years of cGMP manufacturing experience is desired or equivalent in work experience or education.
- 2-4 years education in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and/or Chemistry is preferred.
- Experience maintaining cleanliness of work areas and following laboratory or food safety practices is preferred.
- Experience working closely in small teams preferred.
- Experience with industries that require close adherence to Standard Operating Procedures or Work Instructions preferred.
