Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the laboratoryโs procedures for the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
- Follow the laboratoryโs established quality control policies and procedures.
- Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance.
- Perform a wide variety of microbiology procedures requiring independent judgment.
- Perform testing procedures in other areas of the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Valid GENERAL SUPERVISOR LICENSE from the State of Nevada or eligibility.
- CLS generalist with 1-year Microbiology experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve.
