Microbiology Specialist II – Clinical Lab

Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to the laboratoryโ€™s procedures for the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
  2. Follow the laboratoryโ€™s established quality control policies and procedures.
  3. Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance.
  4. Perform a wide variety of microbiology procedures requiring independent judgment.
  5. Perform testing procedures in other areas of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
  • Valid GENERAL SUPERVISOR LICENSE from the State of Nevada or eligibility.
  • CLS generalist with 1-year Microbiology experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve.
