About the Job
Microbiology technicians report directly to the Laboratory Supervisor and are responsible for conducting routine testing of finished compounded products and meeting quality requirements of applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare samples for microbiological analysis
- Conduct various tests including bacterial endotoxin, particulate matter, sterility, etc.
- Assist in managing lab organization and waste management
- Adhere to procedural and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science field
- Experience in pharmaceutical quality control preferred
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to concentrate and follow safety procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
