Job Details:
Job Title: Molecular Biology Scientist
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Responsible for daily operations of gene synthesis, material preparation (Vector/PCR), and on-site order management team, coordinating internal and external resources, analyzing internal production data, and adjusting work plans promptly to achieve goals, optimizing, training, implementing and supervising work SOP to improve operational efficiency and ensure smooth operation of the team.
- Team Management: Assist the department in continuously improving platform technology and talent pool building, and formulate and evaluate team members’ PBC (personal business commitment) and work KPI (key performance indicators).
- Quality Management: Identify quality risk points in the production process and formulate corresponding measures to avoid or reduce risks, and achieve the goal of 0 wrong products.
- Platform Management: Promote communication between upstream and downstream positions within the platform, and with other production positions/platforms.
- Other Responsibilities: Cooperate and assist in completing relevant departmental internal and external work functions; temporarily complete important tasks assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
- 2~3 years of biological and quality-related experience
- Organized, hard-working, proactive, and have good learning ability
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Rich leadership experience in managing teams or projects
- Excellent language skills in English and Chinese
