About the Job
The Dulin lab at VU Amsterdam is seeking a Research Technician (HBO) in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. This is a 16-month position to start as soon as possible, focused on nucleic acids biochemistry and recombinant protein expression/purification.
Your Function
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing nucleic acid scaffolds and in the expression and purification of recombinant proteins for single-molecule biophysics investigations of protein-nucleic acid interactions. Additionally, the individual will manage molecular biology tasks for the Dulin lab.
Your Profile
We are looking for a talented technician with an HBO or MSc degree, experienced in biochemistry, molecular biology, and recombinant protein expression/purification. The ideal candidate should be creative, hard-working, and have a strong ability to work within a team.
