Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in R&D, Innovation, Operations, or factory/market roles.
- Knowledge of ingredient, recipe, product, compliance, or label data management.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
- Understanding of food regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in databases, digital tools, and software applications.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Material & Recipe Management Specialist Job Description
The Material & Recipe Management Specialist ensures adherence to Nestlé Nutrition’s processes and standards for material and recipe management, supporting the release of compliant products. This role provides expertise in ingredients, recipes, and digital tools to drive product development, regulatory compliance, and technical acceptance while supporting innovation and continuous improvement across Nestlé’s Meals and Drinks category.
Material & Recipe Management Specialist Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance by design for the Meals and Drinks category using SAP, CAT, and other digital tools.
- Guide the formulation of new products in accordance with Nestlé’s Material & Recipe Management processes.
- Create, review, and approve raw material specifications and recipes.
- Provide technical guidance for product submissions and approvals.
- Lead MRM-related activities in cross-functional teams, offering solutions to ingredient or product challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements (SAP-RM, CAT, DevEX).
- Train teams on category-specific MRM processes and tools.
- Manage technical acceptance requests to ensure on-time product launches.
