Project Details
The Predoctoral Researcher will work within the Infectious Disease / HIV Lab on a research project studying the immune response to HIV infection. The role offers:
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.
- Work with human tissues under BSL2+ conditions.
- Opportunities to design, execute, and analyze experiments, contributing to high-impact publications.
- Participation in conferences to present research findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute experiments for research projects.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data accurately.
- Prepare and submit research manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.
- Present findings at scientific meetings and conferences.
- Work independently while collaborating with the research team.
Eligibility Criteria / Education
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biosciences (Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines).
- Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry.
- Ability to work in BLS2+ laboratory conditions with human tissues.
- Proficiency in English (required).
Experience & Skills
- Hands-on experience with primary cell culture and flow cytometry.
- Ability to plan experiments independently and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of laboratory SOPs and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
