QC Analyst Job Description
As a Quality Control Analyst I at Piramal, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products. This safety-sensitive position requires performing analytical chemistry examinations on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples, all while following approved SOPs and FDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical testing analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability/request samples.
- Accurately document and submit all raw data and results into LIMS.
- Prepare reagents for chemical analysis and conduct peer reviews.
- Ensure compliance with compendial (USP/EU) testing requirements and FDA 21 CFR regulations.
QC Analyst Job – Educational Qualificationsย
ย Bachelorโs degree in biology, microbiology, or related science with relevant laboratory coursework.
Experience and Skills
- 1โ2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices and PPE.
- Familiarity with cGMP and good documentation practices.
- Understanding of compendial testing requirements.
- Preferred hands-on experience with FTIR, dissolution, UV-VIS, Karl Fischer, pH testing, wet chemistry techniques, reagent preparation, and volumetric solutions.
