Job Description:
We are currently seeking a QC Microbiology & EM Associate II to undertake microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining quality standards at our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities for QC

Perform microbiological testing: endotoxins, growth promotion, sterility, bioburden

Conduct routine/dynamic EM sampling (air, surfaces, water, gases)

Maintain lab records in compliance with GDP, GMP, GLP

Review EM trends, assist in investigations, and improve lab efficiencies

Provide subject matter training to junior analysts as QC
-
Support Supplier Qualification, internal/external audits, and quality agreements
-
Ensure timely sample shipments and documentation via LIMS/QMS
-
Maintain labs in audit-ready state, ensuring 5S compliance
-
Participate in method development, equipment maintenance, and inventory
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Biology, or related science as QC
-
2–4 years of lab experience (internships/co-ops may be considered)

Strong command of microbiology principles and aseptic techniques
Skills & Abilities

Proficient in LIMS, QMS, and Office 365
-
Experience in EM programs (viable/non-viable monitoring, particle counting)

Knowledge of regulatory guidelines: FDA, EU, ISO, ICH, USP as QC

Excellent written and verbal communication

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and planning abilities
