About the Role
As part of the Surprises Quality Team, the Resident Quality Engineer ensures that all finished products and production processes meet Ferrero’s renowned standards for quality, safety, and compliance. This role is central to maintaining operational excellence and driving continuous improvement throughout the production cycle — making it one of the most impactful Quality Engineer jobs at Ferrero.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of finished products with Ferrero’s high-quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce process compliance within production lines.
- Manage operational controls, conduct inspections, and supervise testing activities.
- Support root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in the toy development process with a quality assurance perspective.
- Lead continuous audit and improvement initiatives.
- Oversee production processes and quality control points.
- Ensure adherence to Ferrero’s Quality Manual and Code of Conduct.
- Collaborate closely with the Food Safety Team to elevate standards.
- Implement and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) procedures.
- Guarantee compliance with laws, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Food Science, or a related field
- Experience in quality assurance or production process management, preferably in the food or toy industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with QMS and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) frameworks
- Detail-orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese, written and spoken
