Educational Requirements:

  • Required:

    • Bachelorโ€™s Degree

    • (OR) Four years of relevant work experience/training in lieu of degree

  • Preferred:

    • Masterโ€™s degree in Toxicology or related life sciences

    • Prior academic research experience

Key Responsibilities of the Research Assistant:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and record findings following research protocols
  • Interpret experimental results and assist with data validity assessment
  • Perform statistical and graphical data analysis
  • Assist in animal colony management and animal husbandry as needed
  • Work with aerosolized toxic agents and cell culture models
