Job Summary: Performs advanced administrative and technical work supporting research initiatives in an assigned laboratory or clinical research unit. Responsibilities include participating in data collection, developing new research techniques, and performing various procedures within FDA guidelines and research institute protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Performing general molecular biology experiments.
  • Setting up mouse breeding cages and managing mouse-related tasks.
  • Conducting tumor inoculation, surgery, and related treatments.
  • Managing lab supplies and ordering research materials.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or other natural, life, health care, or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned, and experience in research, basic science, or clinical laboratory, particularly clinical trial research.

OR

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or other natural, life, health care, or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned, and a minimum of three years’ research and/or clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cancer drug development and Oncolytic viruses is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer software.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines, and make independent decisions.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

  • Shift: Days/M-F
  • Salary: $45,400 – $48,000 annually
  • Benefits: Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, vacation time, sick leave, and more.
