Research Jobs In California- Role:

The Life Science Research Professional 1 will support vital research in human brain tumor biology, performing experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining lab operations. Working under limited supervision, you’ll apply theoretical and practical life science knowledge to plan and conduct experiments, process fresh surgical tissue, and culture patient-derived cell lines. This position also involves maintaining detailed records, reviewing scientific literature, and contributing to research publications.

Molecular Biology Jobs- Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Independently plan and conduct laboratory experiments.
  • Process fresh surgical tissue and perform molecular and cell biology assays.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of experimental outcomes.
  • Support lab operations including inventory, safety compliance, and general maintenance.
  • Train new lab members and assist with research documentation.
  • Participate in continuous learning through literature review and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (biology, molecular biology, or related field).
  • Prior experience in wet lab research and human tumor cell culture preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain lab documentation.
  • Proficiency with laboratory software and data analysis tools.
