Life Science Jobs At Bristol- Role:

As an Associate Scientist โ€“ QC Sample Management, you will be responsible for the movement, control, and documentation of Quality Control (QC) samples and materials supporting our clinical and manufacturing operations. Youโ€™ll maintain chain of custody, manage sample tracking systems, and ensure all activities meet GMP and regulatory standards. This position is 100% on-site at our Warren, NJ facility and supports the Clinical QC team within our Cell Therapy Development Operations (CTDO) division.

Microbiology Jobs- Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete life cycle of QC samples โ€” from collection, storage, distribution, transfer, to final disposal.
  • Maintain and document sample tracking, inventory, and chain of custody in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Support sampling of clinical QC incoming materials and coordinate with warehouse and QC teams.
  • Perform investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls related to sample management.
  • Create, review, and revise SOPs, forms, and related documentation.
  • Provide QC support, manage supplies, and maintain material inventories.
  • Facilitate cold chain transfers and ensure temperature integrity of samples.
  • Lead and coordinate sample management trainings and continuous improvement initiatives.

QC Jobs- Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related science field.
  • 2โ€“3 years of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated or biopharma environment.
  • Hands-on experience with cold chain sample storage and transfer.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with laboratory software systems and report preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
