Position Responsibilities:

  • Executes planned experiments/analysis of moderate to advanced complexity within immediate team
  • Contributes ideas for meeting project goals and invention disclosures
  • Assembles data for analysis using accepted methods and distills key conclusions
  • Provides supporting data to Project Lead on risks in area of responsibility
  • May train internal customers in areas of expertise

Illumina Career Requirements:

  • Possesses a university level understanding of scientific principles and laboratory experience
  • Able to draw sound conclusions from general experiment data sets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Experience/Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:

The estimated base salary range for the Scientist I, Oncology WGS Assay Dev Dept role based in the United States of America is: $61,700 – $92,500.
