Education:
BS in Biochemistry. MS preferred(0โ3 years of experience).
Experience and Qualification
- Experience in pharmaceutical equipment cleaning verification.
- Knowledge of LCMS and GC techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with IND/NDA validation and chromatographic separation methods.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP compliance, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Job Description
In this Life Science Biochemistry Job, the Assistant Scientist in Analytical Testing will join the Analytical Strategy & Operations team within Global Product Development and Supply. The role involves regulated GMP testing and analytical support for small molecule New Chemical Entities and Investigational Medicinal Products. The scientist will focus on equipment cleaning verification, method validation, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment cleaning verification (CV) activities, including TOC and HPLC method validation and analysis.
- Conduct and review CV sample analyses, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP guidelines.
- Maintain TOC/HPLC instruments and support laboratory quality systems.
- Participate in method validation, release, stability, and development material testing.
- Assist in investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Prepare operational procedures, reports, and training materials.
- Ensure laboratory readiness for audits and inspections.
