Position Summary
Reporting to the Manufacturing Senior Manager, the Manufacturing Associate will perform manufacturing activities related to LNP GMP manufacturing at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Framingham, MA. The successful candidate will contribute to the production of LNP therapies for both clinical studies and commercial applications. This role requires strong cross-departmental communication and adherence to GMP standards. Candidates with prior LNP manufacturing experience in a GMP environment are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities of Biological Sciences Jobs
- Perform clinical and commercial product manufacturing for LNP therapies in compliance with cGMP standards and SOPs.
- Execute Lipid and RNA Preparation, T-Mix, and TFF operations.
- Conduct aseptic vial filling, visual inspection, cryopreservation, reagent formulation, and material kitting.
- Transfer raw materials inside cleanroom suites using appropriate sanitizing methods.
- Participate in technology transfer from Process Development to Manufacturing.
- Assist in developing and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure materials and equipment are prepared and available for operations.
- Participate in Quality investigations and contribute to resolutions.
- Maintain strict cGMP compliance through consistent operational excellence.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications for Biological Sciences Jobs
- Certificate or Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Biological Sciences or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Proficiency in cleanroom operations (Grade B and C) and GMP standards.
- Experience with T-Mix and TFF preferred.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for 6 hours in a cleanroom environment.
- Self-motivated, data-driven, and capable of solving complex problems independently.
