Job Post: Microbiologist I
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Requirements:
- Perform microbiological techniques
- Create or revise departmental SOPs
- Maintain lab reports and equipment log books
- Keep the Microbiology area organized and sanitary
- Assist in ordering/inventory of lab supplies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
Education and Experience Required:
- B.S. in a scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an FDA/EMA-regulated environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Description:
As a Microbiologist, you will provide microbiological support for all manufacturing and support activities. Your responsibilities will include environmental monitoring, media fills, microbiological and chemical sampling, and related tasks. You will conduct various microbiological tests such as bio burden, BET, MLT, microbial identification, and more. Additionally, you will analyze, archive, and trend data for Environmental Monitoring and utilities.
