Responsibilities
- Represent Quality & Food Safety on specified development projects, execute project deliverables
- Assess food safety for culinary products, ingredients, and processes
- Author and support implementation of Quality & Food Safety standards
- Provide expertise on quality and food safety topics, conduct food safety evaluations
- Support relevant markets with food safety expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the food industry or research and development
- Experience with chemical contaminants, allergen management, and foreign body management preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rMMS/mQMS and inspection
- Quality Management Systems experience, HACCP Certification
- FSSC Lead Auditor Certification and FSMA PCQI Certification
- Willingness to travel approximately 10 – 20%
