- Schedule: 12-hour day shift (7:00 AMโ7:30 PM), 3-2-2 rotation
- Hours: 48 hours one week / 36 hours the next
- Weekends & OT: Required
- Starting Pay: $22.80 per hour (based on experience)

Educational Requirements for the QA Technician Role:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Preferred degrees: Biology, Food Science
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or food production
- 18+ years of age
Key Responsibilities of the QA Technician Role:
- Perform daily inspections, environmental swabbing, and product checks
- Conduct preventive maintenance on quality equipment
- Verify compliance with plant standards
- Perform sensory testing, label verification, analytical testing
- Manage hold materials and retention samples
- Support inventory control and supplier procedures
- Assist with microbiological testing and customer sample needs
- Communicate quality results across teams
- Lead and participate in facility inspections
- Adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company policies
- Support internal auditing and sanitation activities
- Resolve quality issues and investigate complaints
- Support training, SOP development, and cross-functional teamwork
- Provide backup coverage and foster productivity/safety goals
- Manage quality programs and documentation
- Record test results, transactions, and shipments in SAP
- Prepare accurate reports and support process improvement projects
- Lead 5S efforts and maintain document control accuracy
Skills Required for the QA Technician Role:
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment
- Mechanical aptitude for correcting quality issues
- Proficiency in SAP, scanners, Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills
- Ability to interpret data and system metrics
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, FSMA
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk 90% of shift
- Visual acuity and color perception
- Capability to work safely in varied production environments
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to train others and lead small projects
