Job Title: Cell and Gene Therapy Development Scientist

About the Job

We seek a highly motivated and independent PhD to develop experimental cell and gene therapies for patients in clinical trials. The ideal candidate will work with viral vectors, CRISPR-based gene editing, and advanced cell therapy manufacturing equipment. Previous cell culture experience in a research, biotech, or pharma laboratory is required, with a background in immunology being highly desirable.

Specific Tasks

  • Isolation and culture of primary hematopoietic cells
  • Molecular biology and flow cytometry

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Isolation and manipulation of primary human T cells in culture
  • Development of genetic manipulation techniques
  • Characterization of effector T cell function
  • Proof of concept studies for T cell-based therapies

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in biological sciences or chemistry or relevant experience in pharma or medical device companies

Required Experience/Knowledge

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cell culture under aseptic conditions
  • Experience in immunology, cell therapy, GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, or CRISPR
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized and responsible with teamwork skills
  • Proficient in reading and writing in Hebrew and English
