Your Role:

As an Associate product development scientist supporting the global silica business, your responsibilities include:

  • Performing measurements of raw materials, in-process, and final products.
  • Supporting maintenance and service of laboratory equipment.
  • Using and updating laboratory documents and records such as batch sheets and analytical test methods as R&D.
  • Finishing and shipping samples.
  • Collecting and maintaining laboratory databases, documents, and records.

Who You Are:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Materials Science, Chemical, etc) or Life Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc).
  • 1+ years of laboratory experience for R&D.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Silicas, colloids, or nanoparticle fundamentals.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing characterization methods such as particle size analysis, pH measurement, density determination, and titrations for R&D.
  • 2+ years of experience synthesizing nanoparticles and following experimental methods.
  • 2+ years of experience communicating and recording results of experiments.
