BS/MS Biology Graduates Job – Job Description

As an Advanced Research Associate in Immunoassay QC, you will be responsible for performing immunoassay quality control testing to ensure the reliability and performance of Bio-Techne’s products, including Quantikine, DuoSet, Luminex, and IVD kits. This role involves evaluating assay data, maintaining assay databases, preparing reagents, and calibrating laboratory equipment. You will also assist in product transfers from development, participate in validations, troubleshoot assays under supervision, and contribute to change control and SOP documentation. With opportunities to train colleagues and present findings, this position provides an engaging mix of technical, analytical, and collaborative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform immunoassays to assess the quality performance of in-process and final products.
  • Reduce and evaluate assay data, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participate in transferring new products and technologies from development.
  • Calibrate equipment, prepare reagents, and manage assay databases.
  • Review and interpret assay information to make decisions within established procedures.
  • Assist in validations, troubleshooting, and change control processes.
  • Revise or create standard operating procedures as required.
  • Train team members and compile reports with action plans under the supervision of a designated leader.
  • Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.

BS/MS Biology Graduates Job – Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with up to 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience in clinical laboratories or quality control systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow SOPs, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of lab techniques, equipment, immunoassays, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Flexibility to work alternate or additional hours when required.
