Biomedical Internship Opportunity at Boston- Role:
The Supplier Quality Engineering Intern will work within Boston Scientificโs External Operations (ExOps) organization, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality. This internship offers a hybrid work mode, blending in-office collaboration with flexibility. You will support quality evaluations, apply problem-solving methodologies, and lead Value Improvement Projects that enhance processes and deliver cost savings.
Biomedical Engineering Jobs- Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and communicate quality issues to suppliers.
- Apply systematic problem-solving techniques to resolve supplier-related challenges.
- Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supplier quality improvements.
- Apply academic knowledge to practical, real-world engineering scenarios.
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation expected between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
- Commitment to full internship duration (MayโAugust).
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to Arden Hills, MN office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Initiative to identify process improvements.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and Microsoft Office tools.
