Life Science Internship Description
As a Gilead intern, you will work on high-impact, meaningful projects that support the company’s mission while gaining real-world experience at one of the world’s most innovative biopharmaceutical organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Define database structure (chemical name, CAS number, etc.)
- Gather data from internal documents, safety data sheets, vendor datasheets, literature, and standards (ASTM, ISO)
- Define rating systems (Compatible, Conditional, Not Compatible) with rationale
- Create a User Guide for database usage
- Present project outcomes in a final presentation (PPT)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum GPA: 2.8
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (or on CPT/OPT)
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. university.
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Doctoral student
- Must enroll full-time in the Fall semester after the internship
- Available for a 10–12 week internship (May–August)
- Must relocate if required and work onsite for the full duration
Preferred Qualifications for Life Science Internship
- Degree focus: Biological Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Range: $19.00 – $55.00 (Base pay varies based on education, location, and experience).
