Educational Requirements for the QC Position:
- High School Diploma/GED with 4โ6 years of sample management or shipping experience; OR
- Associate degree in life sciences with 2โ4 years of related experience; OR
- Bachelorโs degree in life sciences with 0โ2 years of related experience
Preferred:
- Experience with Trackwise, Labware LIMS
- Previous experience in cGMP QC environments
- Prior sample management or sample shipping experience
Key Responsibilities of the QC Position:
- In this QC Role, you have to receive, move, and store samples from Manufacturing
- Perform stability sample tests and pulls per protocols and SOPs
- Document all sample activities in Labware LIMS, FreezerPro, and SOP forms
- Inspect and inventory reference materials and external samples
- Schedule and coordinate sample shipments
- Respond to chamber alarms and relocate samples during excursions
- Maintain sample integrity and ensure proper condition throughout handling
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and SOP updates
- Transfer samples as required to meet temperature and stability parameters
- Provide off-hours support for emergency work orders
- Collaborate with management to resolve sample-related issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills Required for the QC Position:
- Strong understanding of sample management workflows
- Knowledge of LIMS systems (Trackwise, Labware LIMS preferred)
- Familiarity with cGMP QC operations
- Excellent documentation and data entry skills
- Ability to follow SOPs with precision
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Able to work in warm/cold environments (2โ8ยฐC)
- Comfortable with repetitive motions and material handling (up to 33 lbs)
- Good color vision, attention to detail, and task accuracy
