Job Description
The Position
The Medical Affairs Manager plays a crucial role in developing, managing, and providing impactful medical response documents for client engagements. They are responsible for compliance with local regulations and international standards in all medical reviews and content development activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Medical content development for client projects
- Review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials
- Coordinate meetings, provide direction to writers and designers, and ensure quality deliverables
- Maintain expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas
Expectations of the Job
- Deliver client delight through high-quality content
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Independently develop ethical and compliant medical content
- Collaborate with teams and clients effectively
- Travel may be required
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, or PhD degree in Life Sciences or healthcare. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical communications is required. Proficiency in project management, communication, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience as a Medical Reviewer in the pharmaceutical industry and fluency in multiple European languages. Strong analytical, project management, and client management skills are desired.
