Educational Requirements for Scientisit Job:
- Bachelorโs degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical/Biological/Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with 4โ7+ years of industry experience, or
- Masterโs degree with 1โ3+ years of industry experience, or
- Ph.D. with relevant research and/or 0โ3+ years of industry experience.
Key Responsibilities of Scientist Job:
- In this Scientist Job, you must design, conduct, and analyze mammalian cell culture experiments in bioreactors for monoclonal antibodies and proteins.
- Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistical modeling to optimize bioprocess performance.
- Develop and implement CFD models for scale-up and process control.
- Utilize multivariate data analysis (MVDA), PCA, and time-series analytics to drive process improvements.
- In this Bioprocess Development, you have to collaborate across upstream, downstream, and analytical teams to ensure process integration.
- Document findings in electronic lab notebooks and prepare high-quality technical reports.
- Support technology transfer and regulatory documentation.
- Evaluate and integrate new bioprocess technologies and modeling approaches.
Skills Required for the Scientist Job:
- Strong knowledge of cell culture techniques and bioreactor operations (fed-batch and perfusion).
- Expertise in scale-up/scale-down processes and mass transfer principles.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and DoE methodologies.
- Understanding of CFD applications and scientific computing.
- Experience with data analysis tools, mechanistic modeling, or machine learning.
- Clear communication, analytical reasoning, and collaborative teamwork.
