Educational Requirements for the Manufacturing Associate Role:
- High school diploma with 0+ years of experience or
- Associate degree in Life Sciences/Engineering
- Biotech Certificate preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading Batch Records, Form Preps, protocols, and technical procedures
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in aseptic techniques
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Associate:
- In this Production Associate Role, you have to perform routine and critical manufacturing operations
- Operate production equipment following SOPs
- Troubleshoot and escalate deviations
- Execute batch record, logbook, and form preparation
- Enter data into LIMS, MODA, and other systems
- Review GMP documentation
- Prepare and test samples
- Support visual management and CI initiatives
- Assemble/disassemble process equipment
- Execute cleaning, standardization, and changeover activities
- Support process qualifications and validation
- Maintain training requirements and development plans
- Initiate work orders and complete assigned tasks
Skills Required for the Manufacturing Associate Role:
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations
- Aseptic technique proficiency
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in controlled, cold, or wet environments
- Ability to lift 25โ50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform ladder/platform tasks
- Comfort working around chemicals (acids, alcohols, bases)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, or supplemental hours
- Effective communication and teamwork
