Position Overview
As a Regulatory Intern, you will support the export and import regulatory team through key projects related to audits, customer documentation, SOP maintenance, country regulatory reviews, and information requests. This paid, year-round internship offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your academic commitments.
The role is based out of the Green Bay, WI Home Office, with optional remote work.
What Youโll Do
- Assist with customer and sales requests (letters, forms, monthly import/export audits, formula reviews).
- Organize and lead projects to collect supplier information for export requirements (affidavits, HTS classification, free trade compliance).
- Track import/export documentation and requests using Teams/SharePoint.
- Support creation and updates of SOPs and documentation systems.
- Research U.S. and international regulations to aid decision-making for market access.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Recommend process improvements and enhancements for the role.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently pursuing a degree in: Food Science, or related fields.
- Junior status preferred (graduates May 2027 or later).
- Ability to work: 15โ20 hours/week during the school year, 40 hours/week during summer/winter breaks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle proprietary information and adapt to diverse situations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
