Position Summary

The ACRF Translational Research Laboratory, established in 2013, supports high-quality translational and biomarker research, primarily in haematology. The lab conducts research using clinically derived samples, focusing on treatment efficacy, clinical outcomes, and improved therapeutic approaches.

The team collaborates widely across medical disciplines, designs and implements correlative research, and supports 25+ active clinical trials involving biobanking and biomarker analysis. The laboratory offers molecular techniques, cell culture, extensive flow cytometry, animal models, and functional drug assays.

The Research Technician plays a key role in processing patient blood and tissue samples collected under ethically approved studies, ensuring accurate sample handling and contributing to downstream research activities.

Key Responsibilities in Research Jobs

Laboratory & Technical Duties

  • Process patient samples according to established SOPs
  • Maintain sample databases across multiple studies
