Job Overview:
Step into the role of Laboratory Scientist I and be at the forefront of impactful scientific discovery! In this position, you’ll utilize state-of-the-art equipment to collect, process, and analyze biological samples precisely and carefully.
Key Responsibilities as Laboratory Scientist 1:
- Collect, process, and analyze biological laboratory samples using standard lab equipment/methods following established lab procedures.
- Understand and follow safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate laboratory quality records and logs.
- Execute GLP/Study protocols.
- Contribute to reports using standard procedures and guidelines.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science, physical science, hematology, related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2 years of laboratory experience at the college level or in a related field.
- Skills in lab maintenance, equipment calibration, handling blood and blood components, basic lab skills, attention to detail, regulatory requirements, and communication.
Location: Lakewood, Colorado – Open to candidates willing to relocate to the area.
Physical Requirements:
General Labor Environment requirements include the use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, lifting, and occasional transporting via carts or mechanized equipment.
Salary Information:
Target Pay Range: $66,500.00 to $83,100.00. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
