GE Healthcare Careers- Role:

The Biomedical Technician 1 responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) on customer biomedical equipment. This on-site position in Cincinnati, OH supports hospitals and healthcare facilities by ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.

GE Healthcare Careers- Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and repair basic biomedical equipment under supervision.
  • Perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections.
  • Partner effectively with teammates and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Follow GE HealthCare and hospital policies, completing all documentation accurately.
  • Manage tools, spares, and calibration records to ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through formal instruction and hands-on learning.
  • Support on-call rotations as needed for critical service coverage.

Technician Job- Qualifications:

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Equivalent military or technical training accepted.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., work in varied physical positions, and comply with health/safety standards.
  • Willingness to work after hours or weekends as needed.
