GE Healthcare Careers- Role:
The Biomedical Technician 1 responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) on customer biomedical equipment. This on-site position in Cincinnati, OH supports hospitals and healthcare facilities by ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
GE Healthcare Careers- Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and repair basic biomedical equipment under supervision.
- Perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections.
- Partner effectively with teammates and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow GE HealthCare and hospital policies, completing all documentation accurately.
- Manage tools, spares, and calibration records to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain technical knowledge through formal instruction and hands-on learning.
- Support on-call rotations as needed for critical service coverage.
Technician Job- Qualifications:
- Associateโs or Bachelorโs degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent military or technical training accepted.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., work in varied physical positions, and comply with health/safety standards.
- Willingness to work after hours or weekends as needed.
