About the Role

Join Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as a PhD Summer Intern in the Chemical Process Development (CPD) team. Youโ€™ll work on developing innovative analytical workflows for real-time reaction monitoring using Online Liquid Chromatography (LC)โ€”supporting the development of small molecules and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments evaluating advanced features of online LC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reaction monitoring and optimization.
  • Analyze chromatographic data for process insights and kinetics.
  • Develop sample handling protocols for complex or sensitive compounds.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with LC (HPLC/UPLC) required; familiarity with online or automated systems preferred.
  • Experience with reaction monitoring, PAT, ADCs, or kinetic studies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 (must be listed on resume).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the internship duration.
