Job Title: Research Laboratory Technician
Location: Med-Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (23000331)
Eligbility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, psychology, biology, chemistry, or related science field. Experience in a lab environment is preferred.
Bachelor’s of science degree in neuroscience, psychology, biology, chemistry, or related field is required. Participate in regular laboratory meetings and journal clubs. The position may require some evening hours or weekend hours but those would occur sporadically. Position requires handling of rats, including basic housing room maintenance, drug administration, and harvesting tissue and blood samples. The position is located at the Rangos Research Center, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville, PA. Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will required prior to start of employment. A current TB test will also be required as a condition of employment.
