Educational Requirements for the Scientist Role:
- Required: Bachelor of Science in a related field (Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant laboratory or oncology research experience
Key Responsibilities of the Scientist Role:
- Independently plan and conduct experiments supporting drug discovery in oncology.
- Generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data, presenting findings to R&D teams.
- Troubleshoot experimental and assay-related challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with scientists across oncology research and development functions.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks in compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology and scientific literature.
- Contribute to project team discussions, providing technical expertise and insight.
- Potentially manage the Cell Bank, including cell culture maintenance, documentation, and sample logistics.
