Key Responsibilities of Scientist Jobs

Conducts chemical and product testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS, and wet chemistry techniques.

Reviews analytical data for accuracy and completeness.

Performs quantitative analyses of APIs using chromatography and spectrophotometry.

Conducts microbiological tests as needed.

Performs calculations for concentrations and basic statistical values.

Prepares reagents, solutions, and equipment for analysis.

Maintains accurate lab records of samples, procedures, and results.

Weighs and measures samples for physical and chemical testing.

Reports lab activities and analytical issues to the Group Leader.

Organizes and labels samples and maintains contamination-free work areas.

Follows training requirements and participates in performance management.

Complies with all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Life Science from a four-year college or university is required.
- Minimum 0-2 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
