Key Responsibilities of Scientist Jobs

  • Conducts chemical and product testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS, and wet chemistry techniques.

  • Reviews analytical data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Performs quantitative analyses of APIs using chromatography and spectrophotometry.

  • Conducts microbiological tests as needed.

  • Performs calculations for concentrations and basic statistical values.

  • Prepares reagents, solutions, and equipment for analysis.

  • Maintains accurate lab records of samples, procedures, and results.

  • Weighs and measures samples for physical and chemical testing.

  • Reports lab activities and analytical issues to the Group Leader.

  • Organizes and labels samples and maintains contamination-free work areas.

  • Follows training requirements and participates in performance management.

  • Complies with all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
