About the Role
The Clinical R&D Summer Intern will rotate through six key functions within the Clinical R&D Department to gain firsthand exposure to the breadth of roles in biotechnology research and development. These rotation areas include:
- Medical Monitoring
- Clinical Operations
- Pharmacovigilance
- Pharmacokinetics
- Translational Medicine
- Data Science
This internship provides a comprehensive view of the clinical research landscape and the opportunity to build foundational industry experience.
Key Responsibilities in Clinical Research Internship
- Attend team and departmental meetings
- Assist with functional tasks across rotation areas
- Collaborate with mentor to identify a primary project for the internship
- Complete assigned deliverables throughout the program
- Present a final project (poster, abstract, or slide presentation) at the end of the summer
Knowledge & Experience Required
Education
- Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline such as:
