Job Scope
Conduct, analyze, and document experiments for the development and validation of automated immunodiagnostic assays as part of a project team, under the direction of a Project Leader.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the development of new and existing diagnostic product lines.
- Complete complex research tasks in:
- Technology development
- Product design
- Test methods and material studies
- Process investigations
- Report preparation
- Summarize, analyze, and interpret complex experimental data.
- Conduct experiments for immunodiagnostic assay development.
- Contribute simultaneously to multiple product development projects.
- Maintain complete, accurate documentation per QSR/ISO standards.
- Perform work following GMP and safety guidelines.
- Analyze and present data using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Education and Experience Required for Scientist Jobs
- Bachelorโs degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 1+ year of laboratory experience (academic, government, or industry).
- Experience in immunodiagnostic assay development preferred.
- Experience in the medical device/diagnostics industry is a plus.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Immunology
- Gastroenterology
- Infectious disease
- Endocrinology
- Protein chemistry
- ELISA-based assays
- Laboratory automation
- Ability to independently execute experiments in support of immunodiagnostic product development.
- Strong self-motivation and problem-solving mindset.
