Description
At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what’s next. We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to join our Protein Core Facility team. The Senior Research Associate will play a crucial role in protein expression, purification, and characterization support for various research projects.
Responsibilities
- Work with a dedicated team to complete assigned projects within timelines.
- Provide scientific and technical leadership in designing and executing research, with a focus on fermentation projects.
- Operate and maintain bench-top fermenters, optimize fermentation processes, and scale up for gram-scale protein production.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external fermentation groups.
- Stay updated on new fermentation technologies and bring innovation into research activities.
- Provide protein expression, purification, and characterization support.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering, biochemistry, or related fields OR bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience in fermentation technologies and process development.
- Experience with recombinant protein expression, protein purification, and downstream processes.
- Ability to work independently, in a team, and in a fast-paced research environment.
- Strong learning capabilities, work ethic, and organization skills.
