Educational Requirements for the Summer Internship:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in:

    • Food Science

    • Microbiology

    • Or a related scientific discipline

Key Responsibilities of the Food Safety Intern:

  • Conduct quality checks on finished food products
  • Document quality and food safety procedures, instructions, and formats
  • Support food safety and quality programs, including BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GMP, sanitation, and hygiene practices
  • Assist in product preparation and participate in sensory analysis in this Summer Internship.
  • Support routine quality technician duties as required
  • Perform additional tasks and assignments to support Quality & Food Safety operations

Skills Required for the Summer Internship:

  • Basic knowledge of food & beverage industry quality requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interest in building a career in the food industry
