Educational Requirements:

Key Responsibilities for Pharmacovigilance Specialist role:
- Act as a 24/7 local pharmacovigilance contact point in the UAE
- Support the Senior PV Specialist in maintaining local PV systems
- Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and local PV regulations
- Receive, record, and reconcile safety information
- Perform safety surveillance and literature screening
- Prepare periodic safety reports and Risk Management Plans
- Handle regulatory submissions of safety data
- Conduct basic pharmacovigilance training for local staff
- Manage PV audits, inspections, and compliance metrics
- Coordinate PV activities for medical devices and food supplements
Skills Required for Pharmacovigilance Specialist role:
