Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Intern will join the QA team at the MBD Basingstoke facility. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, this role supports Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Supplier Quality activities, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supplier control, performance reviews, and supplier audits
- Maintain supplier audit trackers and quality documentation
- Coordinate documentation and training activities within MasterControl (EDMS)
- Assist with quality training and ensure documentation is current
- Investigate supplier quality complaints and support corrective actions
- Track supplier questionnaires, change agreements, and quality agreements
- Communicate quality-related change controls to customers
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sourcing teams, and suppliers to support audit readiness
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications for Microbiology Internship
- Degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines
